Navaratri Anushtaan
October 15th - October 28th

Dates :  October 15th to October 28th

Description : Navaratri Anushtaan is 14 days from Oct 15th - 28th.

Oct 15th (Bhaadrapada Amaavasya) - Oct 28th (Aashvayuja Poornima).

Rules :

  • This is Anushtaan, so do swahakaar with Ekagrata (Focus).

  • Sampurna Suchita (Complete Cleanliness) is to be maintained. Shower before the Yagnya and wear clothes that are washed and fresh.

  • Yagnya should be done same time every day as this is Anushtaan and you can do it at your home.

  • Dinner is after Yagnya and Meditation and not before, because we are doing Anushtaan.

  • If the Yagna is finished and there is still time for Agnihotra, continue Maha Mrutyunjaya Swahakaar till Agnihotra, then perform Agnihotra, wait for 2 to 3 minutes to let the fire take in the rice offered and then end the Yagna with Vyahruti, then continue meditation at least 40 minutes.

  • This is an Anushtan for Vishwa Kalyan (Universal well-being) and if the above cannot be followed, might not be necessary to participate in the Anushtaan since the effect is not produced without the prescribed disciplines.

  • Follow the Order given below strictly.

Purnahuti Potli (sack):

  • Make a coarse powder of - Cashew / Almond / Cardamom / Clove / Raisin / Dry Coconut / Peanuts / Jaggery (gud) / Havan Samaagri powder etc.

  • In a small piece of cotton cloth, take 1/2 spoon of this coarse powder and tie it with a cotton thread or cotton wick lose.

  • Do not tie it tight since the ingredients should soak in Ghee well when offered in Purnahuti

  • Make these ahead of time so its ready for Purnahuti each day
